A LEADING property consultancy has appointed Karen Eve as Regional Centre Manager.
The move follows a deal last month which saw Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council purchase Wellington Square and appoint Knight Frank LLP as managing agents.
Currently Manager of 350,000sq ft. Castlegate Shopping Centre, which includes the 8,000sq ft. Castlegate Business Centre and a multi-story car park, Karen has also taken on the role of managing 220,000sq ft. Wellington Square as Regional Centre Manager.
The new position has the responsibility for the effective management of business and retail including commercialisation, procurement and management of contracts, research, marketing; financial management and the retention and attraction of new business and retail tenants.
Commenting on the appointment, Karen said: “It’s very much business as usual. With extensive expertise in this sector I will continue to run Castlegate Shopping Centre alongside managing Wellington Square.”

Karen who has worked for Knight Frank for eight years, also holds a number of senior voluntary roles including Ambassador of Federation for Women in Enterprise, Patron of Teesside Philanthropic Foundation and a Director of Stockton BID.
